Las Yayas and their hateful espadrilles

Why? Why another summer damn espadrilles do they try to become fashionable again? It is something that I do not understand and will never understand. I only know that this time it is the brand's fault The Yayas or Yayas to dry, who has insisted that we dress our feet with espadrilles like the ones they used to wear in the past.

Does no one realize that they are horrible? Please, if they still are worse than crocs. They are uncomfortable, the esparto sole destroys the feet, and if they get wet they become a party. The worst of all is that there are models with colors that even my grandfather would refuse to wear because they are old, and more "friendly" models, like the ones in the image.

Apart from Las Yayas, part of the blame for this attempt to redesign espadrilles lies in Shut your mouth, a brand of t-shirts, accessories and others ... in a funny way. You just have to see the names of both brands. I would say that with that description everything is said. Be that as it may, and funny or not, they are a plain and simple tacky.

I hate espadrilles, I don't know how they can become fashionable summer after summer ... But Cállate La Boca is one of the most naughty brands, "in", of the moment among teenagers (I know from experience xD) and their clothes have quite nice drawings .

In general, I don't like espadrilles at all ... until I discovered and was able to purchase some "Shirting / Gray Stripe TOMS" my favorites from TOMS.
More and more fashionable in the USA, and impossible to find here.
They are very comfortable, they are very well finished, and the toe keeps the shape and does not wrinkle (one of the big drawbacks that I put to espadrilles).
I suppose that with the advertising campaign and the "solidarity" of the brand they are making it a boom.

It is true that espadrilles in general and those in bright colors in particular are not too lucky footwear in terms of good taste, however after looking at the rest of your posts regarding footwear, I can tell you without fear of being wrong that They are the best that you have posted on your blog. Have you really taken a look at the rest of the shoes? I can find more elegant footwear in the market in my town, and not by selling them in the stalls, no, if not on the feet of the Romanians who search among the rubbish. Come on, if those shoes have class ...

You have less class if 1. you live in a town 2. you have stepped on a trail and 3. you have noticed the shoes worn by Romanians =)

Do I have less class? But if I really don't have any class, it demands a certainty that I will never possess. And yes, I live in a town (not one of those cows and peasants, too bad), I have stepped on a trail (the most comfortable way to travel through it, highly recommended given that Romanians are not very efficient at collecting waste) and I have noticed in Romanian footwear (one, who looks at everything and everyone) However, all that is not an obstacle for me to thank you for such an accurate comment.

Thank God we don't all have to think like Javier, who seems to be the owner of good taste and a teacher in class matters.

To judge a traditional product in this way (also by a single person) is unfair, and that this judgment has value is ridiculous.

People like different or the same things and each one of us has an opinion but that the opinion about Las Yayas on this blog can be considered as something to take into account makes me laugh.

I will continue laughing, with my espadrilles and with Las Yayas that I am going to buy as soon as I can (I have seen the new designs and colors on your blog) while some "illuminated" contribute their little knowledge in their comments.

Javier, excuse me, ask your relatives, you will see how many of them use them.

You have an opinion and I have mine. The difference is that I publish it on this blog and you don't, it has no more history. What do I know, you can open a pro-espadrilles blog, or even an international club with parties, events and demonstrations if necessary, in fact I encourage you to do so, surely you will revolutionize the footwear market all over the world.

Trust me, with things like this, I laugh too.

    Enjoy your espadrilles.

    Greetings.

You are laughable and pathetic. Espadrilles are the most comfortable, for the feet where it is hot and for the mind when walking in public in cities or towns where the terrain is predominantly regular. Although it seems that they write from Spain and the Yayas espadrilles there are different than in Mexico (as seen in the photos in your post). In any case, that those who like espadrilles like them and who don't like them, what bothers is your narrow-mindedness and your esthete pretenses (pretenses that you do not support with arguments in your text).
