The most expensive shoes in the world, by Louis Vuitton

U.S. dollar 10.000 (or 7.350 euros) specifically is what these shoes from the French firm are worth Louis Vuitton, it could not be another that showed the luxurious honor of having in its catalog the most expensive shoes in the world. Specifically we talk about Richelieu Manhattan in waxed crocodile leather, belonging to the Spring-Summer collection of the brand.

It is what the crocodile has; That is expensive. And if we add on top the greasing of the leather, the stitching, the perforations and the hand-painted leather sole… Because the price shoots up to quite prohibitive limits, and even more if we add the Louis Vuitton ruthenium plate on the heel.

I prefer the crocodile for other types of more discreet accessories, the truth is, I see it for shoes excessively eccentric (even though these are discreet enough for a crocodile). Anyway, if it seems excessive to pay more than a million of the old pesetas for these shoes but you like the model, there are also calfskin and "only" around $500.

I think exactly the same as you about crocodile shoes. But for expensive shoes, those of my friend Tom Ford, the other day in a store in Madrid I was looking to see if I could find something triple B and I found his little calfskin shoes, no crocodile at 3500 and 4000 euros, I do not want to imagine if they are python, coconut or ostrich. They were next to the "normal" of 300 euros and I thought this is a mistake until I saw that coincidentally all those signed by Tom Ford had those prices. I do not know if they are worth it, but I would never buy shoes with those prices for two seasons, and when other firms with more tradition are worth 10%, good for these and those you propose, the very rich were invented.
A hug and continue like this

It does not seem to me that the price of this shoe is justified at all, the openwork is just as cheap in crocodile leather as cowhide, the sole is hand-painted or hand-sewn, the cost price does not rise even 50 euros, and the Crocodile skin is expensive yes, but we are talking about an Oxford that has not one or two cuts, but many more, that is to say that they make the most of the skin. I remember a whim I had a couple of years ago when I ordered some Manolo Blahnik crocodile skin shoes, the classic Mario model, on request, and in one piece (without any cut), it cost less than 3000 euros. Exaggerated the 7000 that Vuitton asks for. Even so, they do not seem to me the most expensive in the world, there are more expensive ones. Jesus Cánovas has more expensive shoes.

Such an exaggerated price seems to me a desperate need for the luxury brand to assert itself; differing from those that according to current trends are moving towards an "accessible" luxury.
