If you consider yourself a movie buff, there are classic movies that you must know. If they ask you for any of the ones that appear in the following list and you put on a poker face, you will look very bad.
There are some titles not to be missed, of obligatory revision.
Ben Hur
Released in 1959 and starring the immortal Charlton Heston, is the epic film par excellence. In 2016 a remake was released which is a real waste of time.
Pulp Fiction
One of the classic movies of modern times, (it was released in 1994). Directed by the irreverent Quentin Tarantino, with one of the most original scripts in the history of cinema.
Modern times
It can not be missing in a list with classic films, a Charles Chaplin title. Ahead of his time, the English actor and director synthesized in 1936, the paradox of the advance of Western civilization.
The machinist of the general
Contemporary by Charles Chaplin, the influence of Buster Keaton (director of this classic) within universal cinematography is unquestionable. This, which is considered one of the best films in history, was released in 1927.
A Clockwork Orange
There are several Stanley Kubrick films that you should know. Released in 1971, this is for many the most iconic in the New York director's filmography.
gone With the Wind
Many talk about this tape, although not everyone has seen it. From 1940, it is perhaps the "most classic" of the classic films.
Blade Runner
Many of the science fiction films released after 1982, have some influence from this Ridley Scott classic. You should not see the newly released second part if you do not know this one.
The Exorcist
A film with a lot of later influence. Anabelle is the trendy horror movie. Much of the staging of the diabolical doll tapes was taken from the tape starring Linda Blair in 1973.
