Caps are mainly associated with sports and casual clothing, but this accessory can also work great even if we do not wear sports shoes.
The key is to bet on caps from non-sports firms with sober designs... no fanfare. Include models like these in your repertoire to be able to hide your bad hair days also when wearing dress pants and a shirt:
Here are two black dress caps that you can find at Mr Porter and Zalando, respectively. The first model, made of leather and cotton, is from Balmain and represents a luxurious twist on the typical baseball cap. Wear it with sport jackets or dress bomber jackets. The second, just as discreet, is from Calvin Klein, another firm associated with good dress.
As long as it is not a suit, you can include without any fear these two monochrome caps in elegant looks. For example, with dress joggers, slim fit T-shirt and casual Doctor Martens shoes.
Dress caps can also mix colors, as these proposals from Hilfiger Denim and Gucci demonstrate. The first does it soberly; a model in blue with the recognizable logo of the firm embroidered on the front. It will go perfectly with a polo shirt, distressed jeans and nautical.
The latest model comes from Gucci. It includes more ornaments than the rest, although integrated with great subtlety to shape a perfect cap to combine with dress clothes.
