It is spread by direct contact with the intimate parts, so the use of condoms can be a solution for its prevention. It should also be used for oral sex, as it could cause candillomas inside the mouth or throat.
The appearance of warts can be asymptomatic, but many times they can be annoying because they are accompanied by itching.
Risk factors for genital warts include multiple sexual partners, partners who do not use condoms well, or early initiation of sexual activity.
