Within our daily routine hides a great unknown that we all think we master: shaving. We are going to collect some little tips so that you can improve shaved off and avoid the haters courteous, pimples, cystic hairs, irritations, etc.
In this first "chapter", we will talk about the pre-shave, or that stage that nobody does but that we all should do.
¿When is the best time to shave? I like to shave in the morning and after a good shower so that the pores are wide open and ready for "war" although as we explained in the post about the best moment to shave, at night you will guarantee a better result.
What should we do before shaving? Prepare the skin, how? By cleaning it well with a face cleaner and warm water, never hot as it dehydrates the skin a lot and will irritate us more. And dry it slowly, without rubbing and gently treating the skin, you will also prevent it from being irritated.
In addition, there is not the thing. Once we have clean skin, we need to open the pores well and avoid possible irritations and unexpected cuts, ingrown hairs, and other annoyances caused by poor shaving practice.
To do this, before proceeding to shave, we must use a good pre-shave oil to prepare the beard for the terrible process to which it is going to undergo. We recommend the one of Anthony Logistics (With Glycolic Acid, perfect for irritations and reduces beard growth) or that of American crew (special for shaving with a razor) that we commented previously.
The blades irritate the skin a lot and if we do not protect it as well as possible, we may notice it in the medium term.
