Surely, many men, this type of pants produce a certain hostility. To others, however, it will seem like a breath of fresh air when it comes to downstairs. We are talking about pleated pants.
A garment that is fall-winter 2013/2014 has been revisited by many luxury firms and, also, by retailers focused on the mass market. We have not wanted to let pass this trend long, and therefore, we show you our selection of favorites for this season.
Triple pleated trousers
One of the most exaggerated models is the one that proposes McQ by Alexander McQueen, the second line of the English firm. A black wool trousers with a very loose silhouette and wide legs, which thanks to its multiple pleats produces a balloon effect that does not go unnoticed.
In this same style of triple clamp, we find the proposal of Gant rugger in inteso blue made in cotton twill.
The simple clamp
More discreet, and with a single pleat, we have selected two Topman models. The First of all en gray-blue and narrow cut for those who dare with the trend even if they do not want to sin for an exaggerated cut. The second, tweed with subtle checkered pattern in burgundy and gray.
A lifelong classic is the pleated flannel trousers with rolled-up hem, and in the Jigsaw house they have rescued him for this season.
Chinos with tweezers
But not everything will be dress pants, the lines more casual they also propose this format of pants. In Dockers they rescue their model with the usual tweezers, the Essential Khaki, and they present it in three basic shades. We love the beige model, a wardrobe essential that does not fail.
