The most expensive liquor in the world: a luxury limoncello

If we have already seen versions for the richest of champagnes, whiskeys and even mineral waters, this is the turn of the liquors. The first place on the podium has been reached this time by a Limoncello brand, but the real culprit of the award is Stuart hughes. Can you imagine why?

You may have guessed it when you hear the name of the luxury designer: this liquor becomes valuable at the cost of the bottle and the materials that have been embedded in it. It is a special commission from an Italian client (who prefers to remain anonymous).

What makes the liquor edition special is, nothing more and nothing less, three brilliant white diamonds in a single piece, carved with taste and placed in the ring of the neck of the bottle next to the stopper. The stones total 13 carats. What's more there is one more diamond, larger size that is installed in the body of the 'carafe' and that by itself only has 18,5 carats.

According to Hughes This last piece is one of the rarest and most extraordinary stones that have fallen into his hands and, for this reason, (and for its price) he has only created another bottle for sale. The unit is worth 27 million pounds, just over 30 and a half million euros.

However, we are not going to forget the content. This exquisite juice comes from Italy, it is a D'Amalfi Supreme from the drink house Antica Russo Distillery founded in 1936, made with the peels of sweet lemons from the Amalfi Coast fermented with a mixture of sugar and alcohol for 20 days, which gives it a unique flavor and makes it ideal as an aperitif and as a dessert.

Would you taste such a glamorous concoction that well served?
