How to stay stylish at 40 degrees and not die (from heat) trying

Primark Summer 16 (5)

High temperatures make life quite difficult when it comes to dressing. It is a fact. However, here we show you that it is not necessary to look like we are going to the beach to be cool. Staying stylish at 40 degrees is possible, so forget the tank tops and flip flops.

Floaty shirts, baggy pants, invisible socks and breathable footwear. That's the way to go so you don't lower your bar for elegance during the hottest days.

If you bet on voile, linen or satin shirts you will combine freshness and elegance. Important that the neck is not high. Look for a mandarin collar, open collar, or small regular collar to keep the nape area clear.

Change your shorts for dress joggers, jeans and baggy summer chinos. Prevent them from sticking to your skin with straight or tapered cut models. And don't forget to roll the hem two or three times to keep your ankles ventilated (and look cool).

Infinitely more stylish than flip-flops (although that's not very difficult) and just as comfortable, these three types of footwear cannot be missing from your shoe rack for the summer. We talk about sandals, espadrilles and nautical. The first two options allow you to do without socks (which keeps the feet very cool) without going to an extreme too relaxed. With regard to the nautical, the ideal is to put them with a good pair of invisible socks, although that hardly affects the ventilation of the foot.
