F1 Special in Valencia: Poeta Querol

I already named the other day the Poeta Querol Street like the street with more luxurious stores From Valencia. Perfect for a walk, either to go shopping, or to admire the Palace of the Marquis de Dos Aguas (in the photo) both outside and inside, without forgetting the number of historical buildings in the area.

I recommend walking in the middle of the afternoon, when the sun begins to set, and turning right at the corner of the Louis Vuitton store and sit for a while in the University Square, or as I affectionate and obviously call her; "The square of the blue trees." Ask yourself why.

Okay, let's get down to business. I would walk from the Bank of Spain to Calle de la Paz to end up taking a walk around the Plaza de la Reina, with which, we entered the street at the corner of BBVA. There are shops on one side and the other, although the most luxurious are on the right side, on the left side is only the Palace and Montblanc.

The first thing we find is Ermenegildo Zegna. Generally empty and with some very successful ties. The bad, the typical black packaging of the brand with a pinstripe, with which you feel like a mobster with a new weapon. At 10 meters you will find Lladró with its very modern and avant-garde porcelain figures (all ironic, of course). Typical souvenir from Valencia and magnet for tourists. I hate their figures, but for tastes ... you know.

Then there is one of the shops that makes me more amusing in the city, the Bravo shoe store, which taking advantage of its location is supposed to sell luxury shoes. I can't help but laugh when I walk through the door and see Geox and other such aberrations. Yes, it is without a doubt the most luxurious shoe store I have ever seen, along with the Carrefour shoe section (there is a shoe section at Carrefour, right?).

Later, and on the corner is the store LoeweWith its cool showcase with a giant bag. I love Loewe bags and accessories. And lately his motorcycle helmet in black and gold tones has been quite pending. Spectacular.

In the corner appears Louis Vuitton. It is not very big but I have not ordered anything that they have not had at the moment, and look that I have ordered rare things. People tend to crowd into the shop window, being inside almost the whole day empty. The treatment of the shop assistants is exquisite, without falling into the rut as it can happen in Loewe, and I am surprised by the number of people they have working in the store given the low influx. From Louis Vuitton, in addition to its Damier Graphite line, I prefer its ties, very beautiful and elegant. One can always fall in a fit.

If we deviate from Poeta Querol for a moment to the right along Calle de Salvá, we arrive at Hermès, another of the best stores in the area. And in front is the square of the blue trees that I mentioned earlier. It is bigger than the Louis Vuitton store and they also have an awful lot of things. Incredible leather products from the French firm, especially the belts. And if the ties Louis Vuittons are pretty, these are amazing too.

In front of Hermès there is a women's fashion store whose name I do not remember, for who may be interested. We go back to my street, we pass the pharmacy and we arrive at Samsonite Black. With Louis Vuitton next door, the truth is that it dims a bit and loses practically all the limelight. An elegant and much more sober style.

In the next corner you will find Bulgari, with a large store. Watches, jewelry and bags are its star products. Very attractive shop windows and a treatment worthy of the brand. The 125th anniversary bag collection seems to me spectacular.

In front, more Loewe, but works. Here the street changes its name and becomes Marqués de Dos Aguas. So if we keep walking we get to Purificación García, or «la Puri». Always an interesting option for basics. We continue and we arrive at… Intermon? Yes, Intermon Oxfam… we pass it by and it appears Roberto Verino. Similar to PG, but more classic from my point of view.

Reaching the end of the street appears The Bodega de la Paz. You eat relatively well, although the place is somewhat scary due to its decoration, chairs, tables and even waiters overly burdened. Good iberico, and the last decent sirloin tournedo I've ever eaten.

The street ends with a store of generous proportions and little used of Hugo Boss. More Boss Orange than anything else. Surprise the spectacular sales it makes. Opposite, on Calle de la Paz, you will find Carolina Herrera, with some horrible red awnings easily recognizable. Although I do not dislike CH shirts, they do not fascinate me either, I must admit that I despise their stores. They are so full of furniture that it seems that you are going to buy a bookshelf instead of some clothes. Special mention deserves one of the employees, with slicked hair and crest, for his absolute and total incompetence. His last pearl was to offer me a gray shirt when I was looking for a white one, because according to him "they are similar shades."

Going down my street, and once in La Paz, one can turn left towards the Queen's Square and take a few laps there.
