Mr Porter and actor George MacKay tell us about this fall's trends

Although we are immersed in the height of summer, farsighted men have begun to plan and what they will wear when autumn comes. If you are one of them, you will find the latest editorial - very rich in textures - by Mr Porter very useful.

The online store puts on the actor George Mackay ('My life now', 'Captain Fantastic') some of your favorite trends for the upcoming season, including garments from firms such as Gucci, Prada or Tom Ford.

Jackets are an essential piece for halftime. Mr Porter bets on the bomber and aviator style, by Berluti and Brunello Cucinelli, respectively.

The jackets are combined with military shirts and knitted sweaters. Garments in neutral tones, typical of autumn, such as beige and khaki.

The classic cut coats will remain one more year as our allies when we need to increase the level of elegance.

A look made up of Loro Piana garments that has an athleisure touch. The same effect that is achieved by adding a herringbone jacket and a zip-up sweater, this time by Tom Ford.

Autumn will also bring prints, and what better firm to represent them than Gucci. A daring look featuring a red shirt with a space animal motif draped over a knit sweater with the word 'loved' all over it.

If you have a predilection for jeans, three-pointed pockets and cowboy boots, this fall is the perfect occasion to let yourself be carried away by your inner cowboy. Rustic garments with refined touches facing the city, designed by the American firm Ralph Lauren. The pants and ankle boots are from Ermenegildo Zegna and Berluti, respectively.

On the left, a total look of Anthony Vaccarello's new Saint Laurent. Sharp silhouettes with a minimalist philosophy and passion for the color black.

Just as sober, though richer in detail, is Prada's total look. Let's remember that Miuccia Prada proposed to bring back the style of the 70s in her autumn / winter 2017-2018 collection.

Finally, another athleisure look, with a poplin shirt and joggers from Maison Margiela, and a denim jacket with a back print from Givenchy.
