Checkered shirts are back in fashion. The different manufacturers have everything ready for this garment to invade the stores again this autumn-winter after a time of rest, during which only nostalgic men have continued to keep it in their usual looks.

However, now that they are back on trend, their presence on the streets will increase, dressing both men in timeless style and those who prefer to be carried away by trends. The plaid shirt it's going to look a lot from now on.

If after all this time, you have forgotten how to wear it, do not worry, we are here to update you. There are three ways to wear a plaid shirt. The traditional or nineties consists of wear it open with a cotton t-shirt underneath (which can be both short-sleeved and long-sleeved), like the model in the header image.

And from one extreme we go to the other: relaxation against tension. To take it open to fasten it to the last button, a way of wearing it that comes from the American gangs of the early 80's and that we have been seeing again for some years now. If we combine this modality with jeans and boots, we will have a great lumberjack look, and if we add a wool hat to the equation, even better.

The third option when wearing a flannel shirt (we emphasize flannel, because if it is not made of this material, it will not work for us) is tie it around the waist, which provides a very interesting touch of sloppiness in order to achieve grunge and punk-inspired looks.
