Five long-sleeved polo shirts ready for the office

Long-sleeved polo shirt with blazer

Add some long sleeve polo shirts to your wardrobe will bring you great doses of style this season. If your office dress code is very strict, you can always reserve them for 'Casual Friday'.

The following are five models that, thanks to their refinement, they will work like a charm with your suit pants / chinos and blazers:

boglioli

€ 255, Mr Porter

The main quality that we must look for in this garment is an optimal fit. A quality long-sleeved polo shirt has to be light, but at the same time form a well-defined silhouette. So make sure the armholes, cuffs, and waist fit your body properly.

The best thing is that your office polo shirts have elastic at the waist, but if they don't, you always have the option of tucking it into your pants.

Navy blue long sleeve polo shirt

Bottega Veneta

€ 550, Matches Fashion

When choosing a color, we encourage you to play it safe with neutral tones. And it is that they work well both in sober tonal looks and if we dare to add pants of another color.

Beige, navy blue, burgundy, and khaki are great choices for your long-sleeved office polo shirts.

Beige long-sleeved polo shirt

Brunello Cucinelli

€ 690, Matches Fashion

The simpler your long sleeve polo shirt, the more elegant the effect will be. Bet on plain colors and the absence of pockets or, what is the same, clean lines.

Most firms currently focus on polo shirts –both short-sleeved and long-sleeved– as a smart piece, so the market is full of models that meet these requirements.

Burgundy long sleeve polo shirt

Paolo Pecora

€ 177, Farfetch

If you opt for the burgundy color, not only will it provide a very autumnal effect to your looks, but it also has highly stylish combination possibilities.

Pair it with brown, gray or navy blue pants to make your style stand out from the rest at the office.

Khaki long sleeve polo shirt

Zara

€29.95, Zara

Firms like Zara offer us this garment at more affordable prices. A cut that leaves some space between fabric and skin in the form of elegant folds.

A model that we encourage you to consider if you are looking for a smart long-sleeved polo shirt, but you do not feel comfortable with very tight garments.

And what do you think of going to the office with a polo shirt along with a dark jacket (black, navy blue, dark gray)?

Obviously, I don't mean to wear it for important meeting days, but for a "normal" work day. Do you see it adequate? Any advice?

      Hi Alberto,

The dark jackets with polo shirts are a very suitable choice. It's a stylish combination for those "normal" work days, and it also offers plenty of possibilities.

You can add dark polo shirts (even the same tone as the blazer), medium and light. Keep in mind that the clearer, the more it will stand out. White and cream are good options in this case. If you want something darker, I recommend burgundy, brown and, of course, something tonal.
