A cocktail is a mixture of flavors containing one or more mixes of alcoholic beverages with citrus, fruit flavors, juices, milk or creams. In some they are even prepared with sugar, honey or spices, since the diversity of combinations and mixtures can be infinite. 

Almost everyone likes to have a drink and the variety in the world of mixology every time it transcends a more evolutionary age, sophisticated of exotic flavors and blends. But let's not forget that the classic cocktails are those of a lifetime and the most genuine. Some with flavors so perfect that they will never go out of style. In this article we discover which are the famous cocktails that have always been so famous and that you would like to rebound again.

Cosmopolitan

It is not known for sure what its origin is, but it became a classic cocktail, since there were some celebrities who saw themselves consuming this cocktail repeatedly. Among them was Madonna and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 Oz. Citron Vodka (flavored with lmagnet) (1 ounce is 28 g)
  • 1 oz. Cointreau
  • 1 oz. Lime juice
  • 2 oz. Cranberry juice

All the ingredients are poured into a shaker full of ice and shaken very well. It is served in a glass without ice, garnished with a lime wedge or rind. The rim of the glass can be moistened with lime juice or sugar.

Margherita

This version dates back to a restaurant in Rancho La Gloria, between Tijuana and Rosarito. It was created for a dancer who had an allergy to many liquors except tequila and it was there that they created this authentic cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 1 caballito (small glass) of tequila.
  • 1 pinch of triple dry.
  • Juice of 1/2 lime or lemon.

In the glass where we are going to prepare the cocktail, add plenty of crushed ice and add the ingredients. Decorate with a slice of lime or lemon, with the glass frosted on its edge with salt.

Mojito

The story goes that this drink was invented in the XNUMXth century when an English privateer devised this drink with brandy (raw rum without aging), with the need to add the other ingredients and come up with a perfect combination. Today it is prepared with Cuban rum and is the most sought-after drink on summer terraces.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cl of Cuban white rum
  • 3 cl of lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons of white cane sugar

  • 6 mint leaves
  • Crushed ice
  • Soda
  • 1 slice of lemon and 1 sprig of mint to garnish.
  • Optionally, a few drops of distress, a drink that enhances the flavors.

In a glass we add the sugar, the lime juice and the mint leaves. We squeeze or lightly crush the leaves to extract their essence.

Add a little soda and fill the glass with crushed ice where we will add the rum and complete with soda. Stir and garnish with a lemon wedge and a few sprigs of mint.

Its fame dates back to the publications and mention of several American newspapers since 1950, which was compiled from Cuba. But its invention may have started with the design of a nineteenth-century captain.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cl of white rum.
  • 3 cl of coconut cream.
  • 9 cl of pineapple juice.

We place the ingredients in a shaker with crushed ice. Mix until you get a creamy consistency. Pour into the glass and decorate with a pineapple wedge.

Its history dates back to the invention of this cocktail by landowners in Sao Paulo during the XNUMXth century for important parties. His intention was to make known the sugar cane of his region.

Ingredients:

  • 120 ml of cachaça, a Brazilian distillate made from fermented sugar cane juice.
  • 2 dessert teaspoons of brown sugar.
  • The juice of 2 limes or the juice of a lemon
  • Crushed ice

Cut the lime pieces into quarters and add them to the glass along with the sugar. We crush the ingredients so that it releases its juice. Next we add the cachaça and the lemon or lime juice and the crushed ice, stir and serve with a slice of lime or lemon.

It is a cocktail of international fame, created in 1921 in a bar in Paris.

  • 6 parts tomato juice
  • A pinch of salt and black pepper
  • 3 drops Worcestershire sauce or Worcestershire sauce

Mix all the ingredients in a shaker and serve in a frosted glass with lime or lemon juice and coarse salt.

Daiquiri

It has its origins in Santiago de Cuba and is prepared mainly with white rum and lemon juice, although its versions are extinct, recreating some equally good varieties.

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml white rum
  • 25 ml of lemon or lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Crushed or cubed ice

We mix the ingredients in a glass and mix.
