Autumn-winter trends 2015/2016: between capes and ponchos is the look

Capes and ponchos, men's trends fall-winter 2015/2016

We start a new special that we will dedicate to exploring the trends that are hitting hard this season. A selection of posts through which we will group the most representative of the season. A tour that we will take by looking at the catwalk proposals for this fall-winter 2015/2016.

Today, how could it be otherwise, we started with the capes and ponchos. Reinterpretations of the classic Spanish cape and updated reissues of the rain ponchos. It is clear that between capes and ponchos the cool traditional trendy it's from the season.

Giving a very sophisticated air to the rain poncho and presenting it in luxury materials such as leathers. The sporty air poncho is presented in its most chic in firms like Kenzo. And kept a very design sporty but this time in a more technical key in houses like Billy reid, Calvin Klein o Andrea Incontri. The point is another of the preferred materials to present this type of pieces that this year come to all stamping. Of clear tribal inspiration we have seen them in Topman Design like fringed pochos; or in Colour y Skringgraft with the typical motifs in the form of stripes or stripes. We have also seen them with fringes and in chunky knit and openwork in Burberry prossum, both in cape version and as a poncho. The classic tartan squares in the shape of a large cape-shawl and simply placed on the shoulders are not lacking in proposals such as that of Vivienne Westwood; a silhouette that is repeated in Custo Barcelona in a cool to everything patchwork. The Sherlock-inspired ones have also not been lacking, as we see in the proposals of Billy reid; or those with a more sober and traditional air, such as the imposing black wool cape from Saint Laurent.
