The Met Gala 2017 had the avant-garde as its theme, since this year the event paid tribute to the exhibition 'Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between', dedicated to the designer and founder of the firm Comme des Garçons.
Like every first Monday in May, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York rolled out the red carpet for celebrities and industry heavyweights. These are our favorite male looks:
A $ AP Rocky
The rapper and style icon did not disappoint. She opted for one of the America-inspired looks from the Raf Simons first collection for Calvin Klein, one of the most avant-garde designers.
Frank Ocean
Balmain was the signature chosen by the singer. A look that may seem incomplete, but without a doubt plays the card of minimalism very well, one of the qualities most commonly associated with the avant-garde.
Eddie Redmayne
The red carpet was divided between those who followed the dress code - which was Black Tie - and those who did not. Considered one of the celebrities who best wears suits, the Oscar winner was one of those who stayed true to the code, as expected. I carry a Prada tuxedo in vibrant blue with double breasted buttons.
Rami Malek
The 'Mr Robot' star came to the event dressed entirely in red, except for some blunt black patent leather ankle boots. Instead of a bow tie, the actor wore a floral appliqué in his pocket. eye-catching Dior Homme tuxedo.
Pharrell Williams
Accompanied by his no less stylish wife, the Chanel ambassador wore one of the most casual outfits of the evening. More than justified due to both the necessary urban touch and the excellent result. In addition, the garments were from the honored firm, Comme Des Garçons.
